Dental implants at Dental Excellence in London and West Wales
Whether its down to decay, old age, gum disease or trauma, its very common for people to lose their teeth. No matter what the reason is, the solutions remain the same. Whether its for aesthetic or functional reasons, the options are (1) accept a gap, (2)a fixed bridge, (3)dentures, both of which can damage your teeth or (4)dental implants. The ideal solution that we offer at our surgeries in London and West Wales is dental implants. The reason for dental implants being the ideal way to replace missing teeth is the dental implant replaces the missing root rather than just having a false tooth floating either on a plate or from the other teeth which over time damages the other teeth.
Why Choose Dental Implants at Dental Excellence in London or West Wales
Here at our London and West Wales surgeries, Dr Rodriguez and Dr Leghaei have each have over 7 years experience of providing dental implants and dental implant treatments. During this time we have successfully placed and restored over 500 dental implants in our surgeries in London and West Wales. Dr Roderiguez has an extra master's degree in periodontology, which places a heavy emphasis on dental implant treatments and what to do if the dental implants ever start to have problems around the gum. Dr Leghaei has a master's degree in prosthodontics during his research, there was a emphasis on planning dental implant treatments, placing dental implants in the ideal positions and restoring dental implants to harmonize with the other teeth. More and more people are now using dental implants for replacing missing teeth at both our London and West Wales practices. Dental implants provide a longer-term solution whilst slowing down bone loss and preserving healthy tooth tissue nearby.
Both our London and West Wales surgeries are excellent settings to provide you with the most relaxing dental implant treatment. Our friendly teams often are happy to work early mornings, late evening and weekends to suit you busy schedules.
Our protocols for dental implant treatment
We usually place the dental implants in healed extraction sites. After an extraction we like to allow about 3 months for healing of the extraction site to allow bone the heal before we place the dental implants. In about 95% of cases we are able to place the dental implants with out having to cut the gum which makes your experience a lot more comfortable both at the time of dental implant surgery and after the dental implants have been placed, because we avoid cutting the gum it means that not stitches are often required and this makes it much more comfortable for you when the anaesthetic wears off. Then about 3 months after the dental implants are placed and the bone has grown into the surface dental implant we then take impressions for a crown to be placed over the dental implants.
We always endure to provide the highest level of care for each and every patient. We know people have very busy lifestyles, which is why we offer great flexibility to suit any type of lifestyle with treatments such as:
